Kneaded Therapy is a Fort Lauderdale medical massage clinic looking for Licensed Massage Therapists who love this work and want to see their patients make real progress.
Our treatments are therapeutic, not relaxation massage. Each one is customized to the patient in front of you, so you'll use your full skill set every day instead of repeating the same routine. If you enjoy figuring out what's going on in the body and adjusting your work to it, you'll fit in well here.
What We Offer:
- $35-$40 per treatment hour based on experience, plus gratuity.
- Full-time or part-time schedules.
- Appointments booked for you, so you can focus on treatment.
- Tables and linens provided; therapists bring their own lotions and creams (no oils).
- A focused clinical setting where your skills and judgment matter.
Duties:
- Review each patient's intake information and talk through their goals before treatment.
- Plan and give customized medical massage, adjusting techniques and pressure to each patient's needs.
- Follow physician guidance or clearance when a patient provides it.
- Your impact: Your hands-on work and attention help patients feel better, move more easily, and get back to the things they enjoy.
- Communicate clearly about the treatment plan, comfort, and aftercare.
- Keep the treatment space clean and professional, and keep accurate patient records in line with safety and privacy practices.
- Arrive on time and ready for scheduled appointments.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida massage therapy license in good standing and professional liability insurance.
- 2+ years of massage therapy experience.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and muscle function, and the ability to apply it in assessment and treatment.
- Skilled in deep tissue, sports, neuromuscular, trigger point, medical massage, and cupping.
- Pluses: ETPS, lymphatic drainage, and prenatal massage.
- Genuine passion for massage therapy and patient care.
- Professional, friendly communication.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance; schedule flexibility is a plus.
